Practice Transition

Bel Air, MD Dentist

August 12, 2021

To my Dental Family,

In 1994, I achieved one of my professional dreams of opening my own dental practice.  It is impossible to put into words how fortunate I have been to have so many loyal and dedicated patients, many who have been with me since I began practicing in 1979.  After 43 wonderful years, while it isn’t time for me to retire just yet, it is time for me to reduce my workload.  This is not a decision I have made lightly.  For several years, I have been searching for a dentist who mirrors my philosophy and approach to dentistry.  I am pleased to inform you that I have finally found a wonderful dentist, Dr. Elizabeth Harrison, who shares my vision and effective today, will be assuming the ownership and management of the practice.

What does this mean for you as a patient?  Fortunately, the wonderful team – hygienists, assistants, and receptionists – will remain with the practice and, together with me and Dr. Harrison, we will all continue to deliver the high-quality dental care you have grown to expect from our practice.  I will continue to practice alongside Dr. Harrison a couple of days a week ensuring a smooth transition.  The office location and phone number will also remain the same.

I would like to take a moment to introduce you to Dr. Harrison. She is a graduate of the University of Maryland School of Dentistry.  She continued her education with a residency at the Baltimore Veterans Hospital, where she received extensive training in dental surgery, implant placement, cosmetic dental procedures, and Invisalign treatment.  Dr. Harrison has spent the last several years practicing in Harford and Baltimore Counties and is thrilled to now have her dental home in Bel Air where she can continue providing outstanding dental care to our community. I have included additional information about her background and experience on the following page so that you can learn more about her.

Again, having spent years searching for the perfect successor for the practice, I am confident that the practice will continue to thrive and grow in service to our community here in Harford County under Dr. Harrison’s leadership.  I sincerely thank you for your support, confidence, and patronage over the last 27 years.  I hope that you will exhibit the same trust and confidence in the practice under Dr. Harrison’s ownership for many years to come.  I know she is genuinely excited to get to know all of you and to provide you with the best care possible.  I also want you to know that Dr. Harrison will be my new dentist as well!

Very truly yours,
